Vacation.

Good thing I'm not a homophobe, because we are off to Gay Paree!

Finally!

I got the first round in yesterday in about month. I had to take a cart, but I made it!

Hangover

The movie. A few good laughs. The foot is almost all better, so hopefully I'll be golfing again soon. I wont see so many movies, but I'll be having more fun.

Happy Bloomsday

Today is Bloomsday, and I was planning on a pub crawl through Menlo Park to celebrate. However, Sheri is going up to Sacramento to watch the Lynx-Monarchs game (go Candice, go Nichole) with Kelli and Andy. I have to be good and take care of the doggies. Layla has been SUCH a good dog, but I fear that I am undoing all of Doug's training!

Star Trek

Pretty high on the fun scale, but low on the plausibility scale. Just suspend disbelief and go with the flow.

Land of the Lost

Went to see Star Trek today, but got the time wrong, or Land of the Lost took over the time slot for it. I got stuck watching that silly movie, but it did have its moments.

Alex's graduation

We went to the Wein's to celebrate Alex's high school graduation.  Tasha (our god daughter) opened up the envelope we brought for him and looked at the check!  At least she said that we were very generous!  Later Tasha and I got in trouble for pretending to argue with each other using fake Indian accents.  She's SOOOO immature.

Pseudo gout?

I had never heard of such a thing.  It's also called calcium pyrophosphate deposition disease or CPPD.

After reading bout it, I wish it had been gout.  It does explain my joint pain over the years, and the mysterious bouts of swelling in my knees and thumb.  This was the worst occurrence yet, and since it was in my big toe, the doctor assumed it was gout.

We got the results back yesterday, and I did some research earlier today.  No known cause, and no known cure.  At least I know what I'm dealing with, and that's a help.

Holding my head high

I'm no longer ashamed of my country.  Thank you, President Obama.

Hockey vs. Basketball

Stanley Cup finals vs. Lakers-Magic.  I think I will be switching channels tonight.  Routing for the underdogs (Pittsburg and Orlando).

Yet another allergic reaction.

Even though I was not infected I did learn that I am allergic to a new round of antibiotics.  Just call me rash face.

Good news bad news

Well, my foot is NOT infected.  I have gout.  Too much red wine.  Gotta cut out (down on) Martinis.  The horror!

Macy wants her walk!

Sadly, I cannot take her until my foot gets better.  She does not appear to understand.
